The Gift of Salvation by Grace through Faith

The Gift of Salvation by Grace through Faith

Romans 5:1-2 (AMP) “Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”

When you gave your heart to Jesus, He filled you with the Holy Spirit. He literally moved into your heart! Though you were sill broken, though you stilled sinned, and though you had no idea how to live a Christian life, you were justified through Jesus’ blood shed for your sins on a Roman cross. You were set freed from sin through God’s gift of amazing grace.

The question now is one you must not avoid. It is this: will you live for your own glory or for the glory of the one (Jesus Christ) who gave his life so you may live forever with him in heaven?
More Questions to Ponder:

  1. ·         Will you set aside the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life to exalted Jesus in thought, word, and actions?
  2. ·         Will you commit to seeking first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness?
  3. ·         Will you read and study the Bible often to build up your faith?
  4. ·         Will you set aside quality time to bless the Lord in praise and worship?
  5. ·         Will you tell others that they need to give their lives to Christ if they want to go to heaven when they leave this world?

Are YOU ready to see Jesus?

Are YOU ready to see Jesus?

Luke 12:35-40 “ “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. 37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. 38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak. 39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” (NIV)

I've been camping out in the Gospels for a few months and I've had some amazing revelations from passages I've read for over 30 years.

This blog will focus on Jesus’ statement “You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

What do you think about most of the time? Yourself or others? The troubles on your day? The hurts in your past or the hopes of your tomorrows?  How about your Kingdom Service?

Maybe you are in a great place or a not too great place…but…..Have you considered that Jesus may have you on assignment in a tough job, tough relationship, or any of a 100 hard places because he wants to toughen you up for your future Kingdom assignments?

The world is in chaos with at least 40 countries actively persecuting Christians. Over 14,600 Christians are martyred monthly…Over 200,000 people die without salvation every day....How can you reach out to a lost soul and share the love of Jesus in that new relationship? If you don't know what to say, just talk about what Jesus has done in your heart and through your life.Your personal testimony has great power to open closed hearts.

Time is winding down... We get closer to Jesus’ return….

I say again: Are you ready to see Jesus face to face? If not, you have some business to do with the Lord….He’s waiting for you! Dr. Alan Keiran
