Divine Connections.

From Alan                                                                                           12/9/13

Divine Connections.

My Left hip is getting more painful by the day, so my Doctor ordered x-rays of both my hips…

When I approached Athol Hospital for my x-ray appointment I met a Marine Corps vet. We chatted a while and he told me another USMC Vet was about to host a Rotary meeting the hospital conference room. I waked into the room and he was alone awaiting his Rotary companions to arrive…We chatted a few minutes and I told him about our ministry in India and he invited me to present our ministry in India when we come back from our February 6-15  mission trip to Andhra Predesh, India.

After my X-rays were done I headed to the Grocery store to and had a wonderful chat with the produce manager…

Now Imagine this…..You are an hour late catching lunch and drive in to McDonalds for a take-out Southwest  salad and you feel the urging to God telling you to speak about Jesus to two high school students killing time shouting the breeze.

You walk up to them and say, “Hello, How are you doing?” I introduce yourself and see smiles on their faces. After a few moments of banter I hear the Lord say, “Share the Gospel with them!” I did…. and they both wanted to give their hearts to Christ. So we prayed the sinner’s prayer together and I explained that they both have a destiny that God will reveal as they seek him in prayer and listen for his voice…..

I have wrapped up Take Charge of Your Destiny books for the two young men so that can fill-up on the 14 principles God gave me to include in this book.

The Gift of Salvation by Grace through Faith

The Gift of Salvation by Grace through Faith

Romans 5:1-2 (AMP) “Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”

When you gave your heart to Jesus, He filled you with the Holy Spirit. He literally moved into your heart! Though you were sill broken, though you stilled sinned, and though you had no idea how to live a Christian life, you were justified through Jesus’ blood shed for your sins on a Roman cross. You were set freed from sin through God’s gift of amazing grace.

The question now is one you must not avoid. It is this: will you live for your own glory or for the glory of the one (Jesus Christ) who gave his life so you may live forever with him in heaven?
More Questions to Ponder:

  1. ·         Will you set aside the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life to exalted Jesus in thought, word, and actions?
  2. ·         Will you commit to seeking first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness?
  3. ·         Will you read and study the Bible often to build up your faith?
  4. ·         Will you set aside quality time to bless the Lord in praise and worship?
  5. ·         Will you tell others that they need to give their lives to Christ if they want to go to heaven when they leave this world?

Are YOU ready to see Jesus?

Are YOU ready to see Jesus?

Luke 12:35-40 “ “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. 37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. 38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak. 39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” (NIV)

I've been camping out in the Gospels for a few months and I've had some amazing revelations from passages I've read for over 30 years.

This blog will focus on Jesus’ statement “You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

What do you think about most of the time? Yourself or others? The troubles on your day? The hurts in your past or the hopes of your tomorrows?  How about your Kingdom Service?

Maybe you are in a great place or a not too great place…but…..Have you considered that Jesus may have you on assignment in a tough job, tough relationship, or any of a 100 hard places because he wants to toughen you up for your future Kingdom assignments?

The world is in chaos with at least 40 countries actively persecuting Christians. Over 14,600 Christians are martyred monthly…Over 200,000 people die without salvation every day....How can you reach out to a lost soul and share the love of Jesus in that new relationship? If you don't know what to say, just talk about what Jesus has done in your heart and through your life.Your personal testimony has great power to open closed hearts.

Time is winding down... We get closer to Jesus’ return….

I say again: Are you ready to see Jesus face to face? If not, you have some business to do with the Lord….He’s waiting for you! Dr. Alan Keiran

Massachusetts Mission

Greetings friends and family....It's been a long time since I sent out a personal note....

After a whirlwind 4 month (Feb-May) around the southern states in our RV we came to the conclusion that my health challenges were too serious to continue our mission trip. We sold out Chevy 3500 Pickup to Car Max in Houston a month and were so blessed to get almost what we paid for it 5 months back! PTL!  We have put our 34Ft Cedar Creek RV on consignment at Holiday RV in Katy, TX.

I was treated for almost 3 weeks in Dallas in hyperbaric oxygen therapy to get blood moving in the small veins in my brain. Test results are somewhat OK (my memory is much better, PTL, but I may have to return to Dallas for more treatment in a few months for to get my multi-asking part part ofg my brain firing on all cylinders, so to speak...

The good new is that God is on our side! And he has assured me that all will be well soon. We still plan to return to India in November for our third mission....God willing.

So we've rented a cosy cottage in Templeton, MA and we are attend Cornerstone AG Church just 20 minutes from home.

The blessing of all this is that we are actually living near both our families....Yahoo! And it's not as hot here as it was in TX. Amen

God Bless....Alan

The Adventure Beckons Us

Greetings from PA. A lot has happened since my last Blog Post....

On Sept 3rd the Lord told me that he was commissioning Sally and me as Kingdom Ambassadors to the Nation and Nations. I asked for a word of comformation and and got one word from God, "Obadiah." So I opened my NLT Bible to Obadiah (a very short book in the OT) and read this in the first verse---"We have heard a message from the Lord that an ambassador was sent to the nations to say, "Get ready everyone." I was blown away...I believe God is calling many to a radical new way to do ministry. After all I was gainfully employed in the US Senate Chaplains office...but this new assignment is totally Kingdom focused and apparently it will be quite an adventure as you will see below.

But on 9/9 God spoke again during my devotions. The date is significant because it was the 9th day of the 9th month and the last day of my 9th year on Capitol Hill.  Then the Lord told me to tell my boss, Senate Chaplain Dr Barry Black, on Wednesday after my Police officer's Bible study that I was leaving the Senate by the end of the year. Then we were told as well to sell our home--it was under contract in 2 weeks (we closed 14 Dec.), then when we were in Orlando for me to do a wedding there in November, the Lord told us to donate 70% of our possessions--which we did by giving then to Teen Challenge.

We are semi-homeless---here in PA for 5 weeks waiting for our kids to move to TX in early Feb. After that we go on the road for 4-6 months of more--as the Holy Spirit leads.

We are enjoying our little cottage on the Yellow Breeches river. We are minding our granddaughter today and having a great time together. We purchased a 34 foot 5th wheel trailer on Saturday...Check out the video below for a look at our Ceder Creek Towable home. We will be buying a Ford 250/350 to pull it or a similar vehicle. GOD BLESS. Alan

Our new home is seen in the video below.
